Revenue
As the website will be free for all users, all revenue will come from advertising. Companies will pay in order to advertise their product/service, all adverts will be targeted towards the audience meaning they will all be centred around dogs, the outdoors and pet care in general. I am looking to advertise large companies such as Amazon and Gumtree as well as smaller family run businesses. To advertise on Facebook it costs roughly 52p per click, meaning every £52 put in gives approximately 100 clicks. Using these figures and applying the fact that my website will begin a lot smaller than Facebook I will charge £30 per 100 clicks. I am looking to have at least 200 adverts on my website each day to begin with, and around 10,000 users visit each day.
After a month I am looking to have around 75,000 users on my website.

Employees
In order to keep my website up and running efficiently and effectively 24/7 I am looking to have around 1,000 employees based in London offices as it is currently just available in the UK. After roughly 6 months I want to expand to the whole of Europe and North America, meaning I will need around 2,000 more employees based in large states such as New York and California and countries such as France and Germany. I will need experts in fields such as coding, accounts and marketing, each earning around £10-12 an hour working 8 hours a day for 5 days a week.
Marketing costs
Marketing for larger companies such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter can cost around £1000 to £5000 per month. The site I am looking to work with is Facebook as users with existing accounts on their will be able to transfer their details (including friends) onto my social media site quickly and easily. This is particularly important when discussing older users as they are less likely to have an extensive knowledge in online spaces so keeping it simple will hopefully draw them to my site.
I will also need access to Google Maps as my site will use this to track users' routes and they can then plot their own paths and view suggested locations. As my site is free to use, for Android and iOS devices it will cost nothing to use Maps, however for web use, it costs $50 (£39) per 1000 map loads each day (this is after the map load total has exceeded 25000 that particular day.
